Baseball Recap: West Port Takes a Loss

West Port was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 13-2 to the North Marion Colts. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Colts this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in February.

West Port saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Cordes, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

West Port's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for North Marion, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-10.

Looking ahead, West Port will take on Belleview at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Marion, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Keystone Heights at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
