Soccer Game Preview: Giles County vs. Hume-Fogg

The Giles County Bobcats will square off against the Hume-Fogg Blue Knights at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Giles County is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Franklin Christian Academy on Thursday. Giles County and Franklin Christian Academy finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Hume-Fogg managed to keep up with Hillsboro until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Hume-Fogg lost 5-1 to Hillsboro. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Hume-Fogg couldn't push the score so high this time.

Giles County's draw makes their record 2-1-1 this season. As for Hume-Fogg, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Giles County was able to grind out a solid win over Hume-Fogg in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 6-4. Does Giles County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hume-Fogg turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
