Shorecrest Prep won the last time they faced Admiral Farragut and things went their way on Friday too. The Shorecrest Prep Chargers had just enough and edged the Admiral Farragut BlueJackets out 50-48. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Chargers.

Nickolas Bearden was his usual excellent self, putting up 31 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Damarion Feaster, who posted seven points.

When it comes to explaining why Admiral Farragut lost, don't look at Gabe Tiesnesis. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Hayden Hundt, who earned 11 points.

Shorecrest Prep is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Admiral Farragut, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Shorecrest Prep will be playing at home against Indian Rocks Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Indian Rocks Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Shorecrest Prep likes a good challenge. Admiral Farragut does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
