Basketball Recap: Glenn Sets Scoring Season-High Against East Central

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glenn). They managed a 95-90 win over the East Central Hornets on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grizzlies.

Despite the loss, East Central still got an impressive performance from Jamel Wolford, who went 9-for-18 en route to 23 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Olivarez, who shot 53% from the field on his way to 19 points and six boards.

Glenn's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for East Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-6.

Glenn will take on Lehman in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Central and McCollum will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets will be up against the Cowboys' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
