Basketball Recap: Altamont Comes Up Short

Altamont lost against Piute back in December of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Longhorns fell just short of the Thunderbirds by a score of 38-35.

Altamont's loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Piute, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Altamont will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Milford at 7:00 p.m. on December 5. As for Piute, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Beaver at 7:00 p.m.
