Soccer Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rangeview Raiders.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Rangeview, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Coming up, Lincoln will be playing in front of their home fans against Thomas Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th. This will be Lincoln's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Rangeview, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Denver South on the 2nd.
