Soccer Recap: Lake Worth Takes a Loss

Lake Worth was the 1-1 winner over Park Vista when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Lake Worth Trojans fell just short of the Park Vista Cobras by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Cristian Guzman was handed one for the Trojans, while the Cobras got theirs courtesy of Brody Zampini.

Lake Worth's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Park Vista, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-8.

Lake Worth wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Boynton Beach on the 12th. Park Vista has also already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Santaluces on the 12th.
