San Gabriel has gone a perfect 10-0 against Alhambra recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Matadors will be playing at home against the Moors at 5:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

San Gabriel is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Wilson just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Mules by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, San Gabriel sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 23-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Alhambra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Schurr.

San Gabriel's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Alhambra, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14.

Everything went San Gabriel's way against Alhambra in their previous meeting back in March, as San Gabriel made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Matadors repeat their success, or do the Moors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
