The Fishers Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Lawrence North Wildcats at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Fishers will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Fishers and Hamilton Southeastern have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Tigers walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Royals.

Hayden Werner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Huston Dunn was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Zander Carnahan, who went 1-for-3 with three runs.

The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Lawrence North also got a great performance from Ryan Whitener as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Whitener is becoming a predictor of the Wildcats' success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 3-8 when he doesn't).

Fishers' record is now 14-2. As for Lawrence North, their record now sits at 5-9.
