Volleyball Recap: Miller Grove Beats South Atlanta for Their Third Straight Victory

Miller Grove waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the South Atlanta Hornets by a score of 2-0. The Wolverines have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hornets, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Miller Grove took both sets by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-12.

Miller Grove's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for South Atlanta, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Miller Grove will head out to take on Towers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Atlanta, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Mays at 6:30 p.m.
