Basketball Recap: Banquete Takes a Loss

After soaring to 60 points the game before, Banquete was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were beaten by the San Diego Vaqueros 84-27. The Bulldogs were probably out for revenge after losing 92-26 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Banquete has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for San Diego, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

Banquete will be playing in front of their home fans against Hebbronville at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Diego, they will venture away from home to challenge Orange Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
