Davidson was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Baldwin County Tigers. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Davidson got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 18-25, 16-14.

Davidson's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-6. As for Baldwin County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-21 record this season.

Coincidentally, Davidson and Baldwin County will both be playing Satsuma the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Gators at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
