Basketball Recap: Lagrange Drops Season-High Score on Reeves

With a playoff win on the line, LaGrange rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 72-60 win over the Reeves Raiders. The Gators' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Reeves' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Christian Williams, who posted 12 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Carter Guillory, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.

LaGrange's victory bumped their record up to 8-26. As for Reeves, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-14.

LaGrange does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Reeves will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Starks on March 4th. Reeves is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 74.2 points per game this season.
