Softball Recap: Montgomery Takes a Loss

Montgomery and Bucktail squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Montgomery had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bucks by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Red Raiders have suffered since May 7, 2024.

Montgomery saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addi Muhl, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Montgomery's loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Bucktail, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Montgomery nor Bucktail have any future games scheduled.
