Volleyball Recap: Advanced Math & Science Academy Comes Up Short

Advanced Math & Science Academy lost against Millbury back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woolies. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 21-25, 25-21.

Adriann Murphy paced Advanced Math & Science Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Murphy got some help from Aysha Silva and her 12 assists. Murphy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Advanced Math & Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Millbury, their victory ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 5-14.

Advanced Math & Science Academy has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Ayer Shirley on the 24th. As for Millbury, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Sutton on the 24th.
