While Math & Science College Preparatory's win against Dr. Maya Angelou Community wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Sharks narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Phoenix 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Sharks in their matchups with the Phoenix: they've now won eight in a row.

Math & Science College Preparatory's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Dr. Maya Angelou Community, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
