Basketball Recap: Christiana Comes Up Short

Christiana was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Middletown Cavaliers, falling 48-27. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 43-27 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Christiana's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Middletown, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Coming up, Christiana will challenge Brandywine at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Middletown, they have already played their next game, a 50-36 loss against Caesar Rodney on the 14th.
