Soccer Recap: Independence Comes Up Short

Independence managed to slip by Princeton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Knights came up short against the Panthers on Saturday, falling 4-1. The match was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for Independence it sure didn't stay that way.

Independence is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Princeton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.

Coming up, Independence will face off against Sachse at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Princeton, they will be taking part in a tournament against Liberty at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
