Basketball Recap: Lakeville South Comes Up Short

After flying high against Shakopee last Monday, Lakeville South came back down to earth. The match between the Lakeville South Cougars and the Minnetonka Skippers didn't end well, with the Lakeville South Cougars falling 71-52. The Cougars have struggled against the Skippers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Lakeville South's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Minnetonka, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Lakeville South and Minnetonka should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. Lakeville South (ranked 54th) will meet Apple Valley (ranked 327th) at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Meanwhile, Minnetonka will challenge Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday up 105 places (16 vs. 121).
