Softball Recap: Del Rio Takes a Loss

If Del Rio was feeling good fresh off their 9-2 takedown of United South last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams lost 15-0 to the Medina Valley Panthers on Friday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Rams haven't been shut out since back in March.

With the defeat, Del Rio broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-20. As for Medina Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Del Rio and Medina Valley will both be playing Eagle Pass the next time they take the field. The Rams will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
