Baseball Recap: Firebaugh Has No Trouble Against Dominguez

Firebaugh won against Dominguez on Tuesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Falcons blew past the Dons 6-0. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Dons recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The result came thanks to Kevin Heraldez's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up nine Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Andrew Flores was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Nathan Reyes, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Firebaugh's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Dominguez, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13-1.

Coming up, Firebaugh will square off against Norwalk at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dominguez, they will welcome Lennox Academy at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
