Basketball Recap: Anthony Wayne Comes Up Short

The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the SPIRE apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2025.

Voltz has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Mallory Pike was another key player, shooting 42% from the field on her way to 13 points and six rebounds.

Anthony Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for SPIRE Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
