Softball Recap: Osakis Comes Up Short

Osakis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-3 to the Melrose Dutchmen. The Silverstreaks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Dutchmen from their previous meeting back in May of 2023.

Osakis' loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Melrose, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5.

While Osakis had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
