Polk County has gone a perfect 5-0 against Kings Mountain recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Wolverines will square off against the Mountaineers at 11:00 a.m.

Polk County saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to Hickory.

Meanwhile, Kings Mountain had already won 12 in a row and they went ahead and made it 13 on Friday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Spartans.

Kings Mountain was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 0-25, 15-0.

Kings Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 21-1. As for Polk County, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Polk County skirted past Kings Mountain 3-2 when the teams last played back in August of 2022. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Mountaineers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
