Flag Football Recap: Pebblebrook Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Pebblebrook's offense. They lost 20-0 to the Cherokee Warriors on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Warriors are ranked 26th).

It was another big night for Gracie Mayo, who threw for 148 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 53 yards for Cherokee.

Pebblebrook's loss dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Cherokee, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Pebblebrook has already played their next contest, a 24-6 defeat against Hiram on the 13th. As for Cherokee, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 34-0 victory against Colquitt County on the 15th.
