Basketball Recap: Valley Falls Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Valley Falls had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They secured a 34-29 W over the McLouth Bulldogs on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Dragons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Valley Falls' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for McLouth, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Valley Falls will head out on the road to square off against Atchison County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McLouth, they will square off against Jefferson County North on Tuesday.
