Softball Recap: Lanesville Comes Up Short

Lanesville fell victim to Borden and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Braves, falling 10-0. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Lanesville has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Borden, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Borden will head out to take on Salem at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lanesville will be paying especially close attention to the Braves' contest: after the Braves face off against the Lions, they'll take on Lanesville again at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
