With a playoff win on the line, Ayden - Grifton rose to the challenge on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wake Prep Academy Guardians. The victory was nothing new for the Chargers as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Ayden - Grifton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Wake Prep Academy between 17 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-19.

Wake Prep Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Harper Maxwell, who had eight digs and two aces, and Haydin Maxwell, who had 16 digs and two aces. Harper is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

Ayden - Grifton's win bumped their record up to 25-7. As for Wake Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 20-7.

Coming up, Ayden - Grifton will square off against Midway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wake Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
