Baseball Game Preview: California Condors vs. El Rancho Dons

For the second straight game, California will face off against El Rancho. The Condors will head out to face off against the Dons at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. California's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so El Rancho's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

California fell victim to El Rancho and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dons. The loss continues a trend for the Condors in their meetings with the Dons: they've now lost six in a row.

For El Rancho's part, the team relied heavily on David Aguirre, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Aguirre has become a key player for the Dons: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 8-9 otherwise.

El Rancho has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for California, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
