Clare is a perfect 4-0 against Beal City since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Pioneers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Aggies at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Beal City will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Clare extended their winning streak to 24 on Tuesday. The Pioneers never let Standish-Sterling get on the board and left with a 10-0 win.

13 must be Beal City's lucky number: they beat Lake City with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Aggies didn't even let the Trojans on the board, marking the Aggies' second-straight 13-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for the Aggies in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won seven in a row.

Clare pushed their record up to 31-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Beal City, their win bumped their record up to 27-6.
