Basketball Recap: Notre Dame Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Notre Dame lost against Elba back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish took a hard 52-36 fall against the Elba Lancers. The matchup marked the Fighting Irish's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Notre Dame's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games. As for Elba, the win keeps them at an undefeated 20-0.

Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Elba, they will be playing at home against Fillmore at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Elba has won 12 straight at home dating back to last season, while Fillmore won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
