After a string of eight wins, Osage City's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lyndon Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Osage City actually scored more points across those three sets (68-64), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-22, 14-25, 25-21.

Kaelyn Boss paced Osage City's offense, picking up five kills. Boss got some help from Addison Watson and her six assists. Emory Speece controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Osage City's defeat dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Lyndon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-15-4.

Coincidentally, Osage City and Lyndon will both be playing Cair Paravel the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
