If The Veterans Memorial Patriots were riding high off their 55-8 takedown of the Bastrop Bears last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Veterans Memorial took a serious blow against Pieper on Friday, falling 54-14. Veterans Memorial was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-0.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pieper to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jake South, who threw for 233 yards and three touchdowns. Brady Hopper was another key contributor, rushing for 77 yards and two touchdowns.
