Flag Football Recap: Chavez's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Chavez won against Weston Ranch on Monday with eight points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. The Titans skirted past the Stagg Delta Kings 8-6. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Among those leading the charge was Liana Linsangan, who picked up 56 receiving yards and one TD. That's the most receiving yards she has posted since back in September.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Chavez's defense and their seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Star Tek and Netheya Williams, who racked up five sacks between them. Another thorn in Stagg's side was Hailey Khamjoi, who picked up a sack, made six total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defended three passes.

Chavez's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Stagg, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

As of now, neither Chavez nor the Delta Kings have any future games scheduled.
