Basketball Game Preview: Klamath Union Pelicans vs. Henley Hornets

Klamath Union is 2-8 against Henley since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Klamath Union Pelicans will host the Henley Hornets at 7:30 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Klamath Union lost to Ashland on the road by a 62-43 margin. The Pelicans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Henley). They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 80-41 victory over La Pine. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Hornets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Klamath Union's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Henley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Klamath Union couldn't quite finish off Henley in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 and fell 47-44. Can Klamath Union avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
