Basketball Recap: University Starts Season with Defeat at Home

University unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 70-65 to the Park Tudor Panthers on Wednesday. The Trailblazers have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

University lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Blake Gray, who posted 12 points along with five assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Faisal Mohamud, who went 8-for-13 on his way to 17 points.

Coincidentally, University and Park Tudor will both be playing Herron the next time they take the court. The Trailblazers will host the Achaeans at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Panthers will host them at 7:30 p.m. on December 5.
