The Hawks will venture away from home to challenge the Griffins at 4:00 p.m. Spartanburg Day took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Greenwood Christian, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Greenwood Christian got the win against King Academy by a conclusive 12-2. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won five in a row.

Lavonte Henderson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Matty Lyle was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Spartanburg Day's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Greenwood Christian, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Everything went Greenwood Christian's way against Spartanburg Day when the teams last played back in March, as Greenwood Christian made off with a 14-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
