Grace Christian skates past Ridgeview Christian with ease

Recap: Grace Christian Warriors vs. Ridgeview Christian Crusaders

In what's become a running theme this season, the Grace Christian Warriors gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ridgeview Christian 64-34 at home. The victory was just what Grace Christian needed coming off of a 76-50 defeat in their prior contest.

Grace Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Justin Hain, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. Hain is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 20 or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Davis Reid, who scored 17 points along with three steals and two blocks.

Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Matthew Walters, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. Isaiah Painter was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Grace Christian is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Ridgeview Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Blue Ridge Christian the next time they take the court. Grace Christian will head out to face Blue Ridge Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Ridgeview Christian will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
