There's no place like home for Toronto, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Madonna Blue Dons by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Red Knights: when they faced off against the Blue Dons back in September, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Toronto had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-19, 25-21, 25-21.

Kylie Mitchell paced Toronto's offense, picking up 13 kills. Mitchell got some help from Danielle Sutherin and her 18 assists. Gracee Rex controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Despite the defeat, Madonna saw an underclassman step up: freshman Breea Birkhimer had 19 digs. Those 19 digs set a new season-high mark for Birkhimer.

Toronto's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Madonna, their loss dropped their record down to 16-8-1.

Toronto does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madonna, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Magnolia on the 2nd.
