Football Recap: Buford Wolves vs. Lambert Longhorns
After flying high against Parkview last Tuesday, Buford came back down to earth. The Buford Wolves fell just short of the Lambert Longhorns by a score of 18-15 on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 20-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2023.
Although Buford took the loss, they still got scores from Braleigh Wansley and Mia Bouton.
Buford's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Lambert, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing North Gwinnett the next time they take the field. Buford will head out to face North Gwinnett at 7:10 p.m. on Wednesday, while Lambert will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
