Thomas Jefferson had won two straight games and Vanson Wells did his part to make it three on Wednesday. The Thomas Jefferson Spartans simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hinkley Thunder 73-41 thanks in part to Wells, who went 11-for-17 to rack up 27 points and three steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played.
Luke Cuellar was another key player, putting up ten points and six steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in January of 2024.
Malachi Holden and Gabe Makonnen certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss.
