Basketball Recap: Arionna Tunstall Key Part of a Team Effort in Red Hawks Win

Seneca won the last time they faced Fairdale and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Seneca Red Hawks strolled past the Fairdale Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 51-35.

Seneca got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Arionna Tunstall out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Tunstall has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Justice Parks, who went 6 for 13 en route to 13 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals.

Seneca smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Seneca's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Fairdale, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season.

Seneca will take on Moore at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Fairdale has already played their next matchup (against Brown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
