While Knoxville Christian's victory against Apostolic Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Apostolic Christian on Tuesday. The Knights haven't had any issues with Apostolic Christian recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Knoxville Christian got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 21-25, 15-10.

Leading Knoxville Christian to victory were Lily Warren and Peyton Smith. Warren had four aces and three blocks, while Smith had five digs and five aces. Those four aces gave Warren a new career-high.

Knoxville Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0.
