Football Game Preview: Lighthouse Christian vs. California Lutheran

California Lutheran have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Lighthouse Christian at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.

California Lutheran were fully in charge two weeks ago, breezing past Riverside County Education Academy 52-14. Junior Nicholas Schroeder was the offensive standout of the match for California Lutheran, as he rushed for 330 yards and 5 touchdowns. In fact, with ten tackles Schroeder was a force on both sides of the ball.

Last Friday, Lighthouse Christian put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They steamrollered TEACH Tech Charter 44-0.

Their wins bumped Lighthouse Christian to 3-1 and California Lutheran to 2-1. With both Lighthouse Christian and California Lutheran swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
