Baseball Recap: Tri-County RVT Comes Up Short

Tri-County RVT easily dispatched Southeastern RVT on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Cougars fell just short of the Diman RVT Bengals by a score of 3-1 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Tri-County RVT's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-5-1. As for Diman RVT, they pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Tri-County RVT will welcome Bristol-Plymouth RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Diman RVT, they will host Brockton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bengals are facing the Boxers at the right time seeing as the Boxers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
