Baseball Recap: Lafayette Finds Home Field Redemption Against Thomas Dale

There's no place like home for Lafayette, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Thomas Dale Knights 4-3 on Saturday.

Lafayette saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Hanson, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave Hanson a new career-high. Another was Ian Ji, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

The victory got Lafayette back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lafayette will face off against New Kent at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The match will give Lafayette their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Thomas Dale, they will challenge Highland Springs at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
