Baseball Recap: Lake City Beats Moscow for Their Fourth Straight Win

Lake City won against Lewiston last Tuesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Timberwolves skirted past the Moscow Bears 4-2. That looming 4-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Timberwolves yet this season.

Tanner Franklin looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jack Pierce, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Deacon Hunter also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
