Holdenville had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 63-62 W against the Wewoka Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Wolverines: when they faced off against the Tigers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 50-39 defeat.

Holdenville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Wyatt Seeley, who posted 17 points along with six steals and five rebounds. That's the most points Seeley has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Stafford, who went 6 for 13 en route to 14 points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Holdenville's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points over those games. As for Wewoka, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 13 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Coming up, Holdenville will be playing at home against Chandler at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wewoka, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers take on the Panthers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
