Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask DePaul College Prep). They put the hurt on the Joliet West Tigers with a sharp 71-45 victory on Thursday. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 23 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Grace Lee, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards. Ava Giordano was another key player, putting up 14 points and three steals.

DePaul College Prep was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Makayla J Chism and Gabrielle Gavin certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. J Chism posted 19 points, while Gavin put up 15 points.

DePaul College Prep has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32 points. As for Joliet West, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

DePaul College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 58-55 win against Butler on the 27th. As for Joliet West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 42-39 victory against Taft on the 27th.
