Steward extended their home winning streak to 13 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Xavier Nelson. The Steward Spartans blew past the Walsingham Academy Trojans 80-41 on Tuesday thanks in part to Nelson, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 11 rebounds. Those 30 points gave him a new career-high.

Another player making a difference was Landus Stewart, who posted six points and three steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last four games he's played.

Steward has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Walsingham Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Steward didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-56 victory against Trinity Episcopal on the 5th. As for Walsingham Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 67-32 defeat against Peninsula Catholic on the 5th.
